    Eastern Chamber organizes (Eastern Commercial Forum 2013) next month
     

    Under the patronage of his Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the eastern region (Eastern Trade Forum 2013) organized by the East Chamber on Wednesday (25/11/2013) at the headquarters in Dammam. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber Abdul Rahman bin Rashed, who explained that the Forum will bring together a large number of businessmen in the eastern region, as well as a number of representatives of relevant government agencies, to discuss issues concerning internal trade and ways of development, monitoringconstraints, and the search for important recommendations at this level.
    Al-Rashed said that one of the objectives of the Forum is to outline to combat some negative phenomena that accompanied the local business such as commercial fraud and cover-up, and overcome common business activities, promoting competition in the market of Eastern region between various business sectors, the development of some commercial activities such as re-export activity program. AlRashed said the forum consisting of three sessions, the first session entitled (internal trade under economic globalization) Through three worksheets are looking to combat commercial fraud, economic impact of the phenomenon of cover-up, and the movement of cargo in ports, ports and its seamless flow and its relationship to business growth accelerated. The second session (trade regulations and boost competitiveness)the competitionsystem, and its role instrengthening the capacity ofbusiness establishments, electronic commerce as an instrument for strengthening corporate competitiveness at the international level and the role of trade in development of the national economy ,high world prices and their impact on the domestic market, noting that the third session will be a panel discussion summarizing all the previous themes and recommendations of the Forum.
    AlRashid expressed the hope in the success of this event, and to achieve the desired objectives in support of the commercial sector with a set of recommendations that contribute to its development, and raising the level of its contribution to the overall development.
    The Trade Commission Yusuf Bin Ahmed Al Dossary said that commercial activity in the eastern region is witnessing successive developments, imposed by geographical and historical realities stemming from the area as the capital of the Gulf industry, and they occur on line trade exchanges between Saudi Arabia and the GCC, as well as the old trade ties with India, Yemen and others all that we as employees in this sector that we meet to exchange views to develop this activity and maximizing to it is added value to the national economy, and that's what we hope to achieve through this forum, organized by the Chamber of Business Committee.
    Al Dossary said what makes this forum so important is because it is under the patronage of his Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the eastern region, and representatives of a number of government agencies which highlight how much the government is keen to develop the trade performance and upgrade it to serve the public life in the region, expressing the hope that the Forum dialogues and discussions are at the event level, consistent with the importance of the business in General, and in the eastern region in particular.
